Sagula Stores is a Tanzanian fashion store that sells Women’s clothes & accessories, thrift & new. We hand pick most of our products. Our store is in Dar es salaam, Tanzania.
We are a Tanzanian thrift store aiming at giving our clients the experience of a first hand fashion store by featuring various chain store brands such as Zara, Pull&Bear, H&M, Vero Moda and many more and by giving our clients authentic pieces at affordable prices.
Sagula stores was especially created to empower her clients through fashion and giving them the experience they would only get if they traveled OR if they went to shop in chain stores such as Zara & H&M or other renowned brands.
Our store focuses on body positivity is inclusive of different body types and celebrates women of all shapes, race & sizes..
SAGULA STORES is the first Tanzanian and perhaps even African thrift store to sell her multiple branded products in kilograms. Our sole purpose is to excite, have fun and above all STYLE & BUILD CONFIDENCE TO THE WOMEN WHO WEAR OUR BRAND THROUGH FASHION.

Sagula Stores was created by 4 Tanzanian sisters who always wondered what it would be like to have a Tanzanian version of big online fashion stores that features products that favours Tanzanian body types, style and way of life.
After, the founders travelled the world and noticed the very big void in the fashion retail industry in Tanzania. For this reason they decided to focus on what was not there, that great boutique experience that anybody could afford and be happy with what they bought, featuring big brands ranging from Zara, H&M, Vero Moda and many more.
Given that there are no big chain stores such as the above mentioned in Tanzania, the sisters wanted to empower their clients by giving first class boutique experiences, designer products and authentic unique pieces the people crave for and still make them affordable.
They were set to building a fashion store all the people would understand and relate to.
In March 2020, Sagula officially opened their first offline store that is located at Kijitonyama Polisi. They did not stop there, since they had been operating only on instagram they finally saw that they had to make the shopping experience more available and accessible to everyone hence creating their very first thrift fashion web store.

SOURCING
We like to experiment and explore. Our products are sourced from different places, we don’t have only one source.
We also tend to mix between first hand and thrifts. Although our business is 70% thrift, you would find the 30% features products straight from first hand stores.
